Mobile Banking FAQs

 

  1. Do I need to be enrolled in online banking before I can enroll in mobile banking?

    There is no need to sign up for online banking before using mobile banking. Both online and mobile banking have the same features and functionality with the exception of fingerprint login and mobile check capture which are only available on mobile devices (including tablets). You can download the UB2GO mobile banking app using your smartphone, laptop, or tablet device. Search for Union Bank VT and New Hampshire at the Apple app store for iPhone or Google Play for Android.

  2. How do I enroll in online banking using my mobile device?

    If you are a new online and mobile banking customer you will need to visit UBLOCAL.COM and select the Sign Up link from the Online Banking login box in the upper right corner of the home page. You will need to fill out the online banking enrollment form and create your login ID.

    As soon as you have established your login credentials, you will be able to sign in to the UB2Go mobile app and begin mobile banking. You can download the UB2GO mobile banking app using your smartphone, laptop, or tablet device. Search for Union Bank VT and New Hampshire at the Apple app store for iPhone or Google Play for Android.

  3. Is there a fee for Mobile Banking?

    No, Mobile Banking is provided free of charge as a convenience feature for our customers.  While Union Bank does not charge you for this service, your wireless plan may charge you for text messaging or data usage.

  4. What Mobile Devices are supported by Mobile Banking?

    Union Bank Mobile Banking is compatible with any US Web-enabled mobile phone that supports web browsers for mobile devices, regardless of make, model, or mobile service provider. We have specific Apps for Android and iPhone.

  5. Where do I get the Mobile App?

    Install the current UB2Go app on your iOS or Android device to start using  mobile banking. You can download the app from the Apple App Store or the Google Play Store by  searching for Union Bank VT and New Hampshire.

  6. Do data rates apply when using Mobile Banking?

    Data rates may apply. Please check with your wireless carrier.

  7. What accounts can I access with the Mobile Banking App?

    You can access any of your Union Bank accounts and accounts you have with other financial institutions all in one place within Union Bank’s online and mobile banking platform. Using our interactive Personal Financial Management (PFM) tool,  you can view your accounts, manage your spending and debts, calculate your net worth and observe spending trends.

  8. Are transfers made using Mobile Banking immediate?

    Yes, your available balance will reflect your transactions immediately just as they do with  Online Banking.

  9. Is my banking information stored on my cell phone if I enroll in Mobile Banking?

    Union Bank Mobile Banking does not save any files with personal or financial information on your mobile device.

  10. What if I lose my cell phone?

    If your cell phone is lost or stolen:

    • Notify your cell phone provider immediately to suspend/deactivate your cell phone until it is located.
    • Contact our Customer Care Team and let them know. (1.800.753.4343). As an additional precaution, our staff can reset your registered devices which requires you to get a Secure Access Code for logging in.  This action will reset all of your registered devices and provides extra security.
  11. What if I get a new cell phone, or new cell phone number, or new phone type?

    You will need to install the current version of the UB2Go app on your iOS or Android device.  You can download the app from the Apple App Store or the Google Play Store by searching for Union Bank VT and New Hampshire. Login to your account using the same credentials you previously used.

    Note: The above information applies to a new cell phone or new phone type. If your number changes you will need to update the following:

    • Address Change
    • Secure Access Code Delivery Contact Information
    • Security Alerts Delivery Preferences

     

     

  12. Can someone intercept my information while I’m using the Mobile Banking app?

    No, not when you are on a secure connection. 128-bit SSL (Secure Sockets Layer) encryption protects your information as it travels from your mobile device to Union Bank. The 128-bit SSL encryption technology is the same encryption that safeguards Internet traffic for secure Web applications. Union Bank Mobile Banking uses Multifactor authentication security standards, which help keeps Union Bank Online and Mobile Banking secure. Learn more about our security.
